Preserving the Fabric of Faith and Heritage

Spiritual Oasis in the City
In the bustling heart of Singapore lies the Maqam Habib Noh, a jewel in the Masjid Haji Muhammad Salleh complex. For over a century, this respected site has been a sanctuary for those seeking spiritual solace and communal connection. Here, the legacy of Habib Noh – born Sayyid Noh bin Muhammad in 1788 and a direct descendant of the Prophet Muhammad SAW radiates compassion and wisdom. Known for his love for the less fortunate and his counsel against greed and grudges, Habib Noh’s teachings continue to inspire many till today.
His Maqam, a testament to his life, remains a pilgrimage site where thousands annually pay homage, some journeying from distant lands. Today, the maqam is not just a monument but a vibrant center of faith and culture, welcoming diverse communities to celebrate, learn, and connect.
Yet, the passage of time and the impact of these trials have left their mark. The shrine and part of the mosque now need extensive repairs and restoration, requiring an estimated three million dollars. Our primary goal is to ensure all our congregants and visitors’ comfort, convenience, and safety and maximize our positive impact across the community.
Be Part of a Continuing Legacy
For the last 100 years, Maqam Habib Noh has serve as a guiding light. It’s a place where wisdom from elders’ weaves through the aspirations of the youth, creating a space for spiritual growth. Yet, time has left its mark. Facing challenges with its structure and preservation, Maqam Habib Noh seeks your support through Project Infaq. Your support is more than just a donation but about preserving the stories, traditions, and values that define our community. This is your chance to be a part of something greater – to ensure these sites remain sources of inspiration and unity
As Muslims, we cherish the significance of these hallowed places of worship, but have you considered the remarkable benefits of contributing to the refurbishment of the mosque and shrine? Indeed, the rewards are abundant and perpetual. For every prayer uttered within a mosque you’ve helped build, Allah SAW bestows blessings upon you in the hereafter. Furthermore, where the mosque stands, your community reaps the benefits of your contribution.
“Whoever builds a mosque, desiring thereby Allah’s pleasure, Allah builds for him the like of it in paradise.” Bukhari
Our restoration mission encompasses several crucial tasks:
Earn immense rewards and barakah in this life and after with your sadaqah jariah.
Be Part of Continuing a Legacy

Your contribution is an investment in our rich heritage, a commitment to sustaining our legacy of faith and community. It’s an act that will help keep our shared history alive for future generations. Prophet Muhammad SAW said in a hadith by Muslim, “When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jaariyah (ongoing charity); knowledge which is beneficial; or a righteous child who will pray for him.” Let us be reminded of the impact of ongoing charity. Imagine your contribution as a living tree, planted in the garden of this sacred space, continually growing, providing shade and solace for years to come. Insya Allah.
Your sedekah is like a light that helps you gain rewards in this life and hereafter by helping others.
